Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of northwestern North Carolina, Christ Episcopal Church provides Christian education and services for the residents and visitors of Sparta, NC. The church is located on a hill overlooking Highway 21, just 1.5 miles south of the Sparta city limits. We extend to you a warm welcome and hope you will join us for a Sunday service, whether you are a resident of Alleghany County or a visitor to the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway. Your presence here is a joy to all of us. We hope to see you soon and frequently. Many of our family have come from other persuasions and have found a new church home. It is with great expectation that we come to worship. Christ Church was founded as a place where Christ's love is extended to all people.
