Following service this Sunday, January 29, the Outreach Committee will have a Silent Auction for four orchids. They have been donated by Melora Campbell's father to help fund our Outreach projects. If you will not be in church on Sunday but would like to place a bid, please e-mail Amy Huysman (huysman@aol.com) by Saturday 9:00 pm or call Amy (372-7327) by 8:30 Sunday morning. Two of the orchids are currently in bloom, one has buds, and one has no buds but Melora's father says it has been growing fast and is a particularly vigorous variety. I am including a link to a web site with Brassia orchids (the orchid with no buds or flowers is a Brassia species) and also a link to Dendrobium Little Green Apples, which has buds.
